Zech Stone spent nearly three years in Poland as a child of missionaries, but has lived in Hickory for the majority of his life. He joined HBC when it was Hickory Community Chapel, and he has been with the church through all the name transitions since. He became a believer through the influence of his parents and the church, coming to faith at age seven. He was baptized at HBC a few years later, and became a member in 2001. He and his wife Heather have three boys, who can often be found helping out in HBC Kids. Zech began working at HBC in 2010, and still enjoys serving in a body of believers that loves one another well. He is encouraged by Psalm 138:8, and of course, the book of Zechariah.
