We believe that Jesus Christ is Lord, and therefore we seek to proclaim His excellency in all we do. Whether preaching, praying, singing, or serving, our aim is to glorify Him and make Him known. Christ is the center and goal of our ministry, and we labor that every heart may behold His beauty and bow to His lordship (Colossians 1:28).

We believe that the Bible is the inerrant, sufficient, and authoritative Word of God. It is our sole guide for life and ministry, shaping our message, methods, and mission. Through Scripture, we behold the glory of Christ and are equipped to serve Him faithfully in a world that desperately needs truth (2 Timothy 3:16–17).

We believe that every believer is gifted by God for the building up of the church. Discipleship is the way we help one another grow in our faith, love, and obedience to Christ. Through intentional relationships, we encourage one another to follow Christ more faithfully, that the whole body may be built up in maturity and unity (Ephesians 4:11–12).

We believe that Christ has commissioned His church to take the gospel to the ends of the earth. At Hickory Bible Church, we pursue this mission locally and globally, partnering with others to proclaim Christ where He is not yet known. Our goal is that unbelievers would come to saving faith and follow Jesus in every area of life (Matthew 28:16–20).
